Popular Woodworking - The web site is mostly geared towards selling their magazine and related stuff. They usually also offer some free plans and other information, along with a link to their WoodWorker's Book Club.

Fine Woodworking - This web site is more than just a sales tool - it has some pretty good information that they update regularly.

Wood Magazine - The web site is geared mostly towards selling their own plans and other stuff, but there are some minimal "free" features that a woodworker would find useful. The web site also has a "WoodMall," a place where you can shop several different woodworking suppliers.

Woodworker's Journal - Mostly a sales tool for their magazine and project plans. It has a couple of other features and a bunch of woodworking links, but not much else that is useful.

Woodsmith Magazine - While you can subscribe to this magazine and order back issues and plans at this web site, it has other features that you might useful. It has a fairly large "how-to" woodworking FAQ section, links to woodworking sites, and content that expands upon the articles found in the magazine.
