That's all you seem to find at this web site, isn't it? Well, what else would you expect to find on a personal web site? This section in particular is devoted to my reviews of tools, books, videos and other miscellany. Of course it is my opinion, and it is only my opinion.

I don't have the resources that the large woodworking web sites or the woodworking magazines have. I can't buy every model of tool to do side-by-side comparisons. When I buy a tool, or a book, or anything, I try to find all the reviews I can that cover what I want to purchase. I try to look at the facts and weigh features against cost. I come to a decision and I buy the item. Once I have it in my hands, I can really tell if I did good or not. The reviews here are based on my hands-on experiences with woodworking items I have purchased. Take them for what they are worth - my opinion.

Don't agree with me? That's OK. You can let me know if you want, just tell me why with enough detail to convince me. It may not change my review, but I always want to know if I am missing something.
