Opinions, opinions, opinions . . . worth as much as you pay for them. These reviews are just that - my opinions on tools, publications, videos, plans and whatever else that I think relates to woodworking.
I don't have the resources that the large woodworking web sites or woodworking magazines have. I can't buy every model of tool to do side-by-side comparisons. When I buy a tool, or a book, or anything else, I try to find all the reviews I can that cover what I want to purchase. I try to look at the facts and weigh features against cost. I come to a decision and I buy the item. Once I have it in my hands I can evaluate it, but usually it is a stand-alone review of that individual item. The reviews here are based on my hands-on experiences with the items I have purchased.
It's all here, and maybe a bit more. All of the information here is common knowledge, just not necessarily easily available. If you don't find what you need, drop us a note and we will see what we can do to add it. Or come on back and see if we have added anything interesting. We are always trying to improve our repertoire of information.
Don't agree with me? That's OK. You can let me know if you want, just tell me why with enough detail to convince me. It may not change my review, but I always want to know if I am missing something.
